What you see in 60 to 90 minutes

No rehearsed show. We show what we are working on that week, tailored to your question:

  1. 01

    Introduction

Who you are and what you want to know. We already ask this when you request the tour.

  2. 02

    Robots at work

Humanoids and robot dogs from Unitree, AgiBot and UBTech, among others. Which robots run that day depends on tests and maintenance.

  3. 03

    Behind the scenes

Simulation, teleoperation and software, how we test safely, and where things still go wrong.

  4. 04

    Your question

What could work in your company, what not yet, and a sensible first step.

Teleoperation: the engineer moves, the robot copies. This is how robots learn a task.

Who is a tour for?

We are a workshop, not a showroom. We welcome companies and organisations that are seriously considering humanoids or robotics.

A good fit

  • Executives and management teams
  • Innovation, operations and technical managers with a task in mind
  • Engineers and IT

Less of a fit

  • Individual visitors
  • School classes and group outings

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

Use the form below. Tell us who you are, how many people and what you want to know.

  2. 02

    We check the fit

We read every request ourselves. Sometimes a short call comes first.

  3. 03

    We pick a date

There are no walk-in hours. We find a time that suits you and the tests on the floor.

  4. 04

    You visit

MICS, Conradstraat 4, Schiedam. We meet you at the MICS main entrance.

What you take home

  1. 01

    An honest picture

What humanoids can do today, and what not yet.

  2. 02

A first look at your task

Promising, too early, or better solved another way.

  3. 03

    What it takes

Safety, software, integration, people and costs beyond the robot.

  4. 04

    A sensible next step

Our insights, a Boardroom session, a Studio Partnership, or simply: not yet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I just drop by to see a humanoid?
No. There are no opening hours or walk-ins. We test on the floor every day, so visits are by appointment only.
How long is a tour, and how many people can come?
60 to 90 minutes, with two to six people from your organisation. Larger group? Let us know.
What does a tour cost?
That depends on what you are looking for. We tell you the cost up front, before you commit to a date.
Which robots will I see?
Humanoids and robot dogs from Unitree, AgiBot and UBTech, among others, such as the Unitree G1. It depends on tests and maintenance that day.
Is it safe?
Yes, as long as you follow the rules. Moving robots stay in a fenced zone with someone at the emergency stop, and you stay outside it.
